Estratégias de Game Design na Educação: uma revisão sistemática da literatura
Samara de Sena, Morgana Niehues, Araci H. Catapan
Resumo
The digital game-based learning is emerging as a
trend for education, covering techniques and tools
that are already in use in various parts of the world.
As part of this trend, the game design is lending
creative dynamics for educational contexts, adding
dynamism and engagement in contexts that are not
necessarily based on playing video games in the
classroom. Through a systematic review of literature,
this study sought to assess what are the most
recurring strategies using game design elements in
education. As a result, four thematic axis were
mapped and grouped. The first axis includes works
that discuss the use of digital games in education in
various fields of knowledge. The second axis groups
papers describing the use of gamification in learning
contexts. The third axis brings together researches
about learning by game design. These studies discuss
the creation of games by teachers and students and
also school curriculum based in game design. The
fourth and final axis mapped studies that discuss the
design and evaluation process of educational games.
It was found that the game design goes beyond the
walls of the commercial game producers, with an
area of knowledge that offers a rich repertoire of
technical and creative possibilities, lending new
dynamics to different educational contexts.
